Earlier in the year, Club Soda was proudly commissioned by Drake Music as part of the Drake Music ‘Connect & Collaborate’ programme, to write and record an original piece of music inspired by the 1960’s architecture of London’s Southbank.
After several trips to the archives at the Southbank Centre, as well as numerous workshops and recording sessions, a ‘supergroup’ of musicians from various Club Soda bands (and especially named Royal Boil Alice for this project), wrote and recorded a site responsive piece of music called ‘Echoes in Time’. The following film captures the piece in all its glory.
